The Awaroa Lodge is at the quiet northern end of Abel Tasman National Park. It is only accessible by hiking in, sea kayaking, Aqua Taxi and helicopter. It's a small beautiful lodge that is known for its eco-friendly business practices and organic garden.
The rooms were big and gorgeous with private balconies overlooking the wetlands. The bathtubs even had views! There was no TV or phone or internet so we were able to completely disconnect and relax.
