I just wanted Jeremy to know that while Grandma Simmons only met you for a weekend (and she seemed rather confused) she obviously really likes you. I base this on the following story...
Prior to leaving the hospital Mom asked me if it was still snowing. It seems she thought it was winter and therefore October had passed and of course the wedding had happened.

I mentioned to her that Melissa had gone to LA for a dress fitting. She was shocked! She just couldn't believe Melissa would be marrying again so soon. "Oh, I just can't believe that sweet little girl would do that!" She was really upset. I finally got through to her that this was August and the wedding hadn't taken place yet. She was relieved, and said "so she is still marrying that nice young man?" "Yes, mother." She was fine after that.
Dad and I discussed the whole conversation later and realized that while she had trouble believing that her "sweet little Melissa" would have dumped that "nice young man" she not once acted like it could have been the other way around. She just seemed very upset that that "nice young man" wasn't in the picture any more and her Melissa might have hurt him.
So welcome to the family Jeremy and if Melissa mistreats you just tell her grandma. :)
