I made the doctor gasp. Seriously.
Let's review. Exactly two weeks ago at my 35 week appointment my fundal measurement was 37. So, I was measuring a little on the big side, but nothing crazy. Today, however, at my 37 week appointment I measured a whopping 43. 43!!!
In defense of my gargantuan unborn son I did find this little bit of news on babyzone.com:
A breech baby, usually sitting up high in the uterus, will yield an unusually large fundal height.
So, perhaps he'll be as big as Noah (9 lbs, 21 inches) but not like twice his size or something. Thankfully, I kept a blog with Noah so I was able to go back and review that on my last prenatal appointment 5 days before he was born (39 weeks) my fundal measurement was 41 so maybe the difference is just in the fact that he's breech...of course I'm only at 37 weeks. Ugh. Who am I fooling. I'm giving birth to a toddler.
