Today was Noah's first day of big boy school. He started summer school today at Applegarden Montessori with his good friend Max. I'm not sure if he was excited for school or just couldn't sleep, but he was up at 5:30am. Thankfully, Grandma was here so he woke her up and not us. :)
He wasn't nervous or excited really, just ready to go and eager to meet some new friends. He was also hopeful that he would meet "a Megan". His friend Paige has a good friend at her school named Megan so he's hoping to get a Megan of his own.
He got a new lunchbox, backpack and slippers for school. First day was a success--if anything it was rather anti-climactic. Just another day for Noah. Of course, for Mommy it meant all kinds of emotions as I began to fill out an incredibly daunting amount of paperwork. Were we buying a house or sending a kid to preschool?! Our baby is growing up. Where, oh where, does the time go.
And, unfortunately, there isn't a Megan. But, I'm pretty sure he'll meet one one day.
